There’s something special about waking up in Saranda. I’ve lived here for years now, and I still don’t take the view for granted—the way the light hits the Ionian Sea in the early morning, or how the mountains seem to hug the coastline. It’s no wonder more and more people are falling in love with this place.

But behind the dreamy seaview apartments and beachfront properties, there’s a team of real people working hard to make it all happen. And today, I wanted to pull back the curtain a bit—to introduce you to the heart of Viva View and Klajdi Construction.

Because yes, we sell homes. But we’re also building a future here on the Albanian Riviera, one project at a time.

It Started with One Vision (And a Lot of Coffee)

Klajdi Construction has been around for over a decade now. It started small—just a few locals with a big vision: to bring European-quality construction to one of the most beautiful, underrated coastlines in the world.

And by “European quality,” we don’t just mean nice tiles and clean finishes (although we do love a good polished marble floor). We’re talking solid foundations, proper insulation, modern layouts that actually make sense for everyday living. Things that matter whether you’re looking for an investment property or a full-time home.

I joined the team a few years ago, not long after moving back to Saranda. I had worked in real estate before, but something about being part of a local company—one that was genuinely shaping this region—just felt right.

One thing that sets us apart? We’re not just selling Saranda apartments for sale to international buyers from a distance. We live here. We raise our families here. We swim in these beaches and eat in the same tavernas we recommend to our clients.

Like that small taverna near Borsh beach I always mention during viewings? You know the one—no sign, just a few plastic chairs out front and the smell of grilled fish wafting through the olive trees. Most tourists miss it, but that’s where the magic is.

What makes Viva View unique is our connection with Klajdi Construction. That’s our in-house construction arm, which means many of the homes we sell—especially the new villas and residences—are built directly by us. No middlemen. No inflated prices. No guessing games about quality.

I showed a couple from Sweden around one of the villas last week, and they just stood on the balcony in silence for a few minutes, taking it all in. Moments like that remind me why I love this job.

We’re a small team, and I like it that way. We’re hands-on, responsive, and truly care about the people we work with. There’s Klajdi himself—our founder and the kind of guy who can talk to contractors and clients in the same breath and make everyone feel heard.

Then there’s Rein, who knows everything about permits, paperwork, and all the little bureaucratic dances we have to do here in Albania. Trust me, he’s saved more than one deal by catching a zoning issue early on.

And of course, there’s me. You’ll usually find me walking clients through listings, sending videos of new builds, or answering DMs late at night from buyers in different time zones.

We’re also growing—slowly, intentionally. Because we’re not here to churn out deals. We’re here to help people make smart, confident choices about buying property in Albania.
